Deposit and Cancellation Policy

You will be charged 50% of the cost of your trip at the time of booking. You have 10 days prior to your scheduled trip to cancel or reschedule for any reason. If you cancel with the appropriate time, your deposit will be refunded to you. If you cancel within 10 days of your trip, your deposit will be held. If the captain cancels due to weather or boat-related issues, your deposit will be refunded to you and another trip will be offered.

*weather cancellation: Only the captain can cancel due to weather. Client safety is first and foremost. Captain Dexter will only take guests on fishing trips if he believes the trip will be safe and inclement weather will not be a factor during the charter. If Capt. Dexter cancels a scheduled trip due to weather, your deposit will be refunded to you or you will be offered the opportunity to reschedule your charter to another date.

What You Should Bring

• Camera or recording device.
• Sunscreen, hat, polarized sunglasses
• Snacks and/or lunch, drinks
• Weather appropriate clothing (it is recommended you wear long sleeved shirts to help protect you from the sun during the summer; wear warm clothing if needed during cooler months)
• Cooler to take your catch home with you at the end of the day
• Boat appropriate shoes (flip flops, tennis shoes, or boat shoes without black soles)
• Seasick medication, such as Bonine or Dramamine, if you are prone to seasickness. It is recommended taking this the night before and morning of your charter to prevent drowsiness while on the boat.
